Showcase video of the YBCC creating a livestream

Used for automatically creating a ready-to-stream YouTube broadcast, printing the stream key for easy automation.

Note

The scope for this project will be increasing sometime Soon™ to include CLI individual stream and broadcast creation, modification, and deletion

As such, I am looking for a new name for this project, as it has outgrown the purpose of just creating broadcasts.

If you can suggest a name that gets picked, I will also credit you in this very readme if desired.

I cannot guarantee Google will be very happy with it. Please read the disclaimers and take caution before using this program.

Ideal usage is for streams that you need to be totally automatic, without creating a scheduled stream ahead of time in YouTube Studio.

A good example would be running a 24/7 live stream, if you ever wanted to restart or save the VOD, you would have to manually create another stream through YouTube Studio to get it back up and running.

You can pipe the output into say the OBS Advanced Scene Switcher plugin and automatically set the stream key before starting your stream.

Setup

• Install .NET 10
• Download the latest release for your OS and architecture from GitHub Releases
• Extract the ZIP file
• Open a terminal in the same folder as YouTubeBroadcastCreator(.exe) previously found within the zip file
• You may now run YouTubeBroadcastCreator(.exe) to view help. Read the docs for more info on how to use the project.
